Meet Barbie! My love for yoga came from using the practice as a companion to my strength training routine. As I deepened my yoga practice I felt I was getting many benefits off the mat as well, it was awakening my spirituality. These changes piqued my curiosity so I completed Heart Song Yoga and The Hard & Soft Yoga Institute 200 hour yoga teacher training and Beryl Bender Birch Yoga & Longevity. Working as a professional hairstylist for over forty years has given me great insight into women's concerns and my training in yoga has shown me that a regular practice not only alleviates but eliminates our common concerns. Building strength and flexibility in the body while creating a calm and clear mind. My classes are a blend of power poses and stretching with stillness and spirituality designed to make you feel good on the inside as well as the outside. My belief is yoga is for everybody, there are no limitations. I see myself as the guide but the practice is created by the individual. Wednesday 7AM-8AM Energize Your Day An energetic approach to yoga, this class includes Ashtanga inspired postures intertwined with mindfulness techniques to enhance your life. Developed for new or life long practitioners this class is the perfect tool for staying agile, healthy, and fit. |
Meet Gary! Gary is a 200 hr certified QiGong Teacher, he started practicing last year and realized quickly the benefits of this healing practice. Gary had struggled with back and neck issues for many years and through his practice has gained more flexibility and is able to move freely without pain. Gary is excited to share the benefits of starting a Qigong practice. Thursday 5:45PM-6:45PM Healing Qigong Saturday 10:15AM-11:15AM Healing Qigong QiGong is an ancient practice using breath, movement & meditation to increase energy, vitality & healing in the body. We will learn how to utilize breath with movement and meditation. Give your self an hour to move, breath, laugh and feel better. |
